Sweet
Anointing
I know not where the wind comes from,
Yet, I do not doubt it's there;
I cannot see it with my eyes,
BUT ~ I can FEEL it in the air.
God's Spirit moves in much the same
I cannot see Him with my eyes;
But I can smell His lovely fragrance
And His Power ~ recognize!
Sometimes he blows His breath
Upon my heart in such a way;
That He calms my fiercest storms
And speaks, PEACE, to crashing waves.
He comforts me in sorrow
When I feel I can't go on;
He carries me in trials
When I'm weary, tired and worn.
His wisdom is my mantle
His counsel leads me through;
He merely SPEAKS to mountains
And they are forced to move!
But most of all, He points me
To the foot of heaven's throne;
Where angels cry out, "Holy"
And streets are paved with gold.
It's there I'm in God's presence
And yielded to HIS Will;
Lost in Sweet Anointing
And Holy Spirit Filled.
I am captured for the Kingdom
By God's mercy and His grace;
He gives me every THING I need
To run a most successful race.
So, even though I cannot see Him
I have no doubt that He is there;
For, He's the breath upon the wind ~
And He's the fragrance in the air.
