Staying Alive
(read Job 1:8)
Lord, Why
do I have to suffer
The depth
of deep heartache;
When I'm
walking in Your promises
And
standing strong in
faith?
If you
have chosen me for
circumstance,
Or put a
battle in my way;
May You
sustain me in the
process
And give
me strength when I'm
afraid?
For,
Lord, I know it is NOT
over
Until,
YOU say, "It's Done;"
So, I
will look beyond the
chaos
Until I
have overcome!
The devil
cannot kill me
For, You,
Lord, own my life;
So, while
I'm going through my "go
through"
I'll
trust in You, to stay
alive.
Please,
Lord, hold my mind
together
And
contain my every
thought;
While I
wait upon Your answers
And keep
my eyes on You, Oh God!
So,
though, the devil try's
to slay me
I'll
continue in the race;
Until
this life is over,
And we
are standing face to
face!
