When the
rhyme has lost it's
reason, and the flower
sheds it's bloom;
When the
morning sunrise ceases,
and only darkness fills
the room.
When hope
evades reality, and life
has lost it's song;
When
nothing's in it's place,
and everything seems
wrong.
It's
then, my heart looks
upward toward the
shining SON;
Engulfing
HIS sweet promise, to
NOT leave ANY thing,
undone.
For even
in this season, of
devastation and remorse;
I will
put my trust in Jesus
and let Him keep my life
on course.
You see,
there will always be
SOME things, that I
will NOT understand;
But I've
built my life upon the
Rock ~ not on the
sinking sand!
So, as
long as I have breath, I
will never turn away;
From the
one that I call Savior,
and His All Consuming
Grace.
Yes, He
has heard my cries, from
the depth of deep
despair;
And He
has sent His comfort,
upon the Wings Of
Prayer.
His
Mercy's Sure To Keep Me
and His Love, Is Sure To
Hold,
My heart
inside the darkness and
the anguish of my soul.
He will
never leave me ~ nor
forsake me in this
place;
Instead,
He'll pick me up, and
hold me close, in HIS
embrace!
