2007- What's ahead for
you and I
We are living
at a time when the armies of the world are
gathering...gathering in two camps: for Israel
and against Israel. The wars and rumors of wars
are upon us. Many of our former allies are
slowly succumbing to the deceptions of
extremists, and slipping away from America. And
our nation is seriously divided. In 2007, you
will see that problem increase.
Many of the
major prophets are speaking of coming disasters:
everything from volcanic eruptions to
earthquakes,economic upheaval, to political
dangers. "Business as usual" won't cut it- we
will need to have faith and relationship to the
Lord more than ever before.
AND there is great news in the
midst of battles:
We have come to a time of
decision. (Multitudes in the valley of decision-
sound familiar?) Making decisions is tough on
some people, and that is almost always due to
fear of making the wrong choice. In 2007, the
changes God wants us to make will require
decisions. It will cause us to move from comfort
to trust, from fear to faith.
If I have one
word for you for 2007, it is change. Step into
the change and don't hold back. Hear the Holy
Spirit say "Come" and move forward. He has a
very soft voice, but there is a distinct feeling
in our hearts when we hear Him. Destiny awaits
us this year, but we have to actually move into
it.
One of the
most prolific words in the Bible is the word
"go." It means to move on. Move on in
2007. Leave what hasn't borne fruit and do what
brings life. It is our Psalm 23 experience- from
the valley of the shadow to the banqueting
table. Can't wait to see what wonders await us
all! Love, Faye and Myron
"The Lord is
my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes lie down
in green pastures, He leads me beside the still
waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the
paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with
me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. You
prepare a table before me in the presence of my
enemies: You anoint my head with oil, my cup
runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I will
dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm
23.

"Be
persuaded, that neither death with its voice of
fear, nor life with its many cares, nor the
attacks of the enemy which falsely accuse you,
nor things present with their pressing claims,
nor things to come with their dark shadows, nor
the height of any mountains that stand in your
way, nor the depths of any great trial that you
may walk through, nor any person or circumstance
which tries to quench your joy or rob you of
peace shall be able to move you away, one single
inch, from the love of God that covers and
guards your life." Romans 8:38-39 paraphrase
